2023 USSSA Ohio All-State Head Coach 

 

Coach Bliss is in his third season as Hurricanes head coach. Last season highlights included three 3rd place tourney finishes and a 5th place finish in the World Series at Sandusky.

 

We are thrilled to have 3 of our players committed to colleges upon completion of this season with at least four more looking at offers next season.

 

Career away from coaching: Professional Aviator

 

Coaching is mentoring. Mentoring is two-fold. Teaching Xs and Os is one part and usually the easy part. The other side of the coin takes more energy but is more rewarding and it's INSPIRING the person or group with whom you're engaged and helping them discover that passion they have that brought them here in the first place. Then to use that passion to drive them.

 

You have to believe that you're here to do incredible things, on and off the field. This goes for anybody, not just athletes and coaches. That starts by believing in yourself...that you ARE capable of those things and never settling to just BE.
